This post is about the changes, maybe unnoticeable to some, that we as a community have made over the past year. In 2019, we realised that we had a lot more ambitions than we first thought. Over the course of multiple meetings we worked out the details of those ambitions and started to work on a plan for our community. A plan with lots of new milestones to look forward to!

Introducing free memberships for women who code

In the 3 years that we have been active, we have used the term "members" pretty loosely. This is something we have been working on for quite a while and now we are ready to launch community memberships! 🎉 These memberships are free of charge, but not open to all. After all, we are still a community for womxn who code in Belgium 🇧🇪 .

women.code(be) Member Spotlight #8 – Griet Van Loo, .Net Consultant

Our newest interviewee, Griet Van Loo is a software developer who's trying to combine her work with running a household, a social life and keeping her cats alive. She keeps herself busy with putting things on her bucket list and trying to complete them, sadly not always at the same rate. She’ll jump into the mosh pit at Graspop in a pretty dress and heels or bake cookies to munch on while watching Guardians of the galaxy.
